'Salsa' literally means sauce. The kind a Latin Mother makes. It's Hot & Spicy and that's how the dance Salsa is.

The classes were started in July 1994 due to the growing demand and interest in Salsa dancing on the Gay scene.

It became apparent that a venue was needed where Lesbians and Gay Men could socialize and learn to dance Salsa in a friendly atmosphere.

Our mid week classes are on Wednesdays in Bloomsbury,London and attract many devotees! Salsa has been described as 'sex on legs', - and by learning just a few basic steps you begin to look and feel fantastic.

The classes provide a unique opportunity for Lesbians & Gay Men to mix and socialize whilst also learning to dance Salsa.

You don't have to come with a partner as a friendly atmosphere has been created due to Salsa-Rosada's method of teaching,part of which entails students constantly changing partners enabling them to becom more versatile dancers whilst making new friends.
